BIO
Dean Bruni's path back to music has been anything but direct. Raised in New Jersey and later immersed in the Los Angeles music scene, Bruni spent years as a songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, recording collaborator, and engineer, working on projects that ranged from original bands and studio recordings to film and independent releases. Along the way he released his solo album These Robot Days, worked in professional recording studios, and helped shape recordings for other artists while balancing the demands of everyday life.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bruni found himself rebuilding both his voice and his creative focus. The result was a deeper commitment to songwriting and a new collection of songs shaped by experience, perseverance, and perspective. His latest EP, Corporate Shuffle, explores modern life, relationships, ambition, and disillusionment through a blend of alternative rock, melodic guitar work, and thoughtful lyrics.
Returning with a more mature and hopeful outlook, Bruni has not abandoned the satirical, sardonic, and occasionally cynical observations that have long informed his writing. Instead, he embraces the contradictions, creating music that is honest, personal, and unapologetically human.
With new music already in development and a renewed sense of purpose, Corporate Shuffle marks not just a return, but the beginning of a new chapter.
